Manila Hostage Crisis on August 23, 2010

It was a shocking event to people of the Philippines on the day of August 24, 2010 due to the hostage crisis in Manila the City Capital of the Philippines. The hostage drama took place when a former Senior Police Officer forcely hitch on a tourist bus with foreign nationals from china and hongkong.

The hostage negotiation started about 10:00 in the morning of the mentioned date and police negotiators started to give a deadline up to 3PM. The demand of the hostage taker was to bring him back into his police force services and return his benefits.

Unfortunately the Police negotiators with the country ombudsman and the hostage taker in manila did not agreed on the said demands and misunderstood each other, instead the hostage drama took more time until the brother of the hostage taker cought by police for misbehavior and unlawful conversation with his brother (the hostage taker).

At more or less 10pm a terrible attack by Philippine National Police SWAT team to the bus where the hostages are in with the suspect made an unforgetable event to Philippine Nation. At least 8 where killed on the hostages and 7 where badly injured, the hostage taker was shot dead on the head by a Police Sniper.
